Métal BF is a custom metal parts manufacturing company located in Terrebonne. Founded in 1960, the company today has more than 30 metal experts working in a 35,000 square foot workshop equipped with state-of-the-art and traditional digital equipment. Metal BF transforms steel, stainless steel, aluminum and copper.

JOB TITLE :

We are looking for a day operator to complete our team! Under the supervision of the plant manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

› Carry out the required operations according to the equipment used;
› Interpret the instructions;
› Use the measuring instruments available (measuring tape, caliper, micrometer, scale, etc.);
› Verify and control the various manufacturing parameters to maintain the appearance, dimensions, specifications, and quality of the parts according to the required standards;
› Know how to recognize the main functional issues of the machines and the manufacturing of parts;
› Transport the parts to the agreed locations, if necessary;
› Complete the required documents and reports for production and quality;
› Properly dispose of the waste generated during production;
› Read blueprints;
› Perform all other related tasks.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

› Ability to work in a team;
› Ability to stand for long hours;
› No experience required.
